Nick and Nicole are no strangers to our blog. Not only are they important to us as our clients, but above all, they are important to us because they are two of our best friends. As photographers, we love to shoot Nick and Nicole. Why, you might ask. Well, that’s because they’re game, and by game we mean down for whatever! This shoot is an example of that. This is Nick and Nicole’s trash the dress shoot.
First, we started out by going to the BashaKill Vineyards located in Sullivan County, New York. Beautiful location with beautiful scenery on a beautiful day. The wine was good too! If you are ever looking for a fun day out of the hustle and bustle of the city, the BashaKill Vineyards is a place we would suggest. It is small, but the people are nice and even let us shoot in their cave!
Next, we went to Yankee Lake, also in Sullivan County. Yankee Lake is where we put the “trash” in trash the dress. This is a location with great meaning to Nick and Nicole, with rich family history. The location was equally beautiful as the vineyards, but the shoot was all about earning the name of the shoot. I’m talking water, passion, and a sky to match. This shoot was not only a trash the dress shoot by any measure, but it was also the type of shoot that we live for!
